I seldom say this but today was a good day.. It started off with a fruitful practice with mr glosz with sectionals before that. So i guess we're on the right track towards our goal in syf.. Good job guys! After practice, justin, don, nigel, daryl, jeremy leong and i went down to SAJC for their funfair. When we reached, we were overwhelmed by the crowds.. Wow. Looks like sajcians are very socialble and have lots of contacts. So we squeezed our way thru the crowds. many times. haha.. It would have been more fun if we had more time, but we didn't. so i ended up giving the funfair coupons away. $26 to be exact. Den we (justin, don and i) headed off for the RP open house. As we went past the sch gates, we were wondering if we were at the right place. We didn't see anyone walking ard. As we walked deeper into RP, we started seeing ppl.. i guess that was a sign of relief for us. Den we came to the canteen where it was almost empty. again. So we walked again and ended up in front of the library. It was the information counter of the open house. finally we're getting somewhere.. Goodie bags full of information abt the diplomas were given to us.. Den we were lost. we didn't know what and where to go. So all we had to do was look blur and lost and someone approached us to ask if we needed a guide. haha. how convinient.. so he firstly took us to the facillitators they call them to brief us abt the schs we were interested in which were IT and applied sciences. We learnt many things abt RP. 1) There are no lecturers. 2) No lecturers means no lectures. 3) RP is completely wireless and is going paperless 4) RP adopts a problem solving learning methid 5) All students must buy their own notebooks Cool eh? I think this is the best poly i've been to so far. BUT, they're moving to woodlands so that might be an issue. i guess i'll be spending the rest of the night comparing the polys. Thanks to those who are waiting patiently for me to publish an entry.. haha ![]() Kenneth blogged at 9:45 PM. |
