With more and more projects coming along, its no wonder that life gets more hectic.
Yesterday was CCN day. As soon as my class finished our classes, we went to set up our store which was loacted outside the travel agency. Started selling te malt candy first as the curry puffs would be delivered sometime later. Didn't really expect sales to be very good as it seems that our only customers were the friends of my classmates. By the time the curry puffs came, sales for both items seemed to be really good, even with students we don't know buying stuff from us.

This went on for abt 3 hrs before we depleted all our stocks! (wow). My hands were really tired from twirling the malt candy (i think i have a phobia of sweet foodstuff now)... Went to my care person's office to hand her the profits that we made from the sales. It amounted to abt 120+ bucks. Quite an astonishing result i must say. When we were just abt to leave her office, another guy from her other care group who was in LRM came in to hnad her the money too. $7. right.

Went home to change as i had traces of malt candy all over my jeans. Saw penguin when i boarded the bus as i was heading back to sch after a shower. Invited him to join us for dinner at tp. Headed off for SMU after that.

My first rehearsal with mr glosz in lieu of NBC. Quite refreshing after not being conducted by him for a considerable long time.

Need to practice my top E (the one above the staff) on Eb, dosen't seem really in tune.

Now here i am rotting at home on a saturday afternoon..

well.. its time to blog again.. second time on my notebook. It been a week now since i have it but it seems much longer though..

After communication skills today, my class went to nogen vaaz (i think that's how its spelled) to celebrate the the birthdays that were in the same week in the month of may. We pooled in some money and bought the three ppl a complete meal together with banana split with 3 scoops of ice cream. Made quite some noise there in the small food outlet. Ah Boon aka Zui Gao Shan Gong was busy feeding ppl with his food instead of gobbling it up all by himself.. How thoughtful.. haha, well, with great 'power' (zui gao shan gong) comes great responsibility (feeding the hungry). haha. Left for home after that. Downloaded windows media player 11. The look of it is way cool! go have a look if u have the time.. Nap-ed and then went for sectionals aat SMU.

Quite a productive practice i must say as we managed to clear one major portion of difficult rhythms and notes. Left at ard 10. Took along trip back home on a single decked (usually double) 65. At least there was singapore idol on TVMobile. Didn't want to get off actually.. haha.

Well, tomorrow's going to be a long day as lessons start at 9am and ends at 5pm. This includes an essay writing test.. Might be on schdule to work at Straits Kitchen frm 6pm to 11pm.. Hopefully not.. Till then, See ya!

i am.. i am blogging... i am blogging on my notebook!

finally after a long three weeks wait, i finally have my hands on a notebook. So far so good, except that the wireless notework around my home area isn't exactly very fast.

one week into our Business Computing Skills website project and we had our first tutorial since the project started. many doubts were cleared today which really helped as no one had prior knowledege of macromedia dreamweaver. now i'm trying to get adobe photoshop so that i can enhance the elements in my website..

my first smu band practice for national band competition starts on friday.. that's something to look forward to other than going to school...

most probably getting back to work next week as my manager has already agreed to let me go back to work.. (gotta start paying off the notebook!)

haven't caught any movies recently... maybe i should wait till there are more movies like x men 3 then go for a movie marathon... hmm.. anyone wanna join?

Its been one week before u know it and we're edging closer to the first assesment of the semester.. Other than that, life at tp has been great! with lectures, tutorials and labs, its really been fun with a new system of learning.

Looking forward to band practices quite a bit, both at tp and at smu. Its more or less confirmed that i would be playing Eb for Second Suite in F and 3rd for whatsoever things. That'sa good thing. You shld see the 1st part for whatsoever things.. haha. Going for an audition on monday at 6.30pm for tp band. hope everything goes well, or i'll be joining tp's ambassadors' organisation..

Found this really cool site. it matches ur pictures with renowned people. requires a free sign-up though. have fun! http://www.myheritage.com/ here are my results..

Sérgio Vieira de Mello (March 15, 1948August 19, 2003) was a Brazilian United Nations (UN) diplomat who worked for the UN for over 34 years, earning respect and praise around the world for his efforts in the humanitarian and political programs of the UN. He was killed in the Canal Hotel Bombing along with other members of his staff, on the afternoon of August 19, 2003.

ok.. its time to have a new post so that people don't come here in vain..

Went for sajc band concert two days ago.. Hmm.. the band was good on whole but the acoustics of the hall did not complement symphonic bands. The result? two dynamics only; loud and louder. Dynamics can cause a piece to be very interesting to listen to and vice versa. Luckily for the sajc band, instead of sending their audiences to dreamland, did quite a few gimmicks to liven up the concert. Well Done!

As we all know, yesterday was polling day. In my opinion, the news 'live' telecast of it wasn't exactly too well done, this is especially so on channel news asia. The guests that the host had on the show were quite redundant, always being interrupted to go for a sudden commercial or for the announcing of results at the elections centre.

PAP won WP in my consituencey by a narrow margin, somewhere ard ten percent or less? I guess this dosen't bode too well for the PAP who seems to be losing more votes every election. This may be due to the emergence of a new generation that hasn't seen Singapore in her early stages of growth with PAP as the government. Or even maybe a protest vote? We'll see in 2011.

I'm looking forward to sch every weekend. Maybe i'm just too bored. Till next time!
