Since its already 1am, i shall talk abt my day yesterday which just ended and hr ago.

Today my band had a rehearsal together with temasek at the conference hall.

Well, this is the third time that my band had rehearsed at the conference hall. Our playing seems to get better and better as each rehearsal progressed on. Keep up the good work guys! With temasek watching us instead of sas, that was certainly less pressure than on monday.

Temasek started off the rehearsal with their rendition of Singapore Rhapsody. Their interpretation or rather the one that mr glosz interpreted seemed somewhat similar to the way we played it which is ver different from the one played by sas. Well i don't really have much to say but xinling can push more at the Grandioso part and the articulation of the clarinets could be more sensitive. Not bad since we last heard them. Then it was st pats turn.

The orginal plan was to let temasek play the set piece followed by us and den them again with their choice piece proceeding with ours. But mr glosz said that he was quite satisfied with our set piece and we moved on to hanover as the allocated time for our band was not over. Everything in the techinical side sounded much better than the previous practice on Monday. I'm glad that my members took into consideration what mr glosz had said in the last practices and had worked on it. It feels that we are getting nearer and nearer to our ultimate goal.

Thanks to meilan for lending your ligature so graciously. We would be in deep trouble if u didn't oblige. Thanks!

Anyway, i would be more than happy to have any feedback abt our playing frm the audience seats. Till next time!
