Hello people reading my blog. I actully had planned to resume the one entry a day thing but i realised that by the end of the day, i would already be drained of any ounce of energy to type out an entry. So appreciate what u're reading! haha.. Today started off quite badly. When i woke up, my shirt was soaked with sweat. It was the effect of the sore throat - cough - flu sickness; the third day and not getting any better. But i dragged myself to get ready to go to school. I was just on time as i arrived at the porch when the 7.15 bell rang. Walked to the assembly yard and stood in line. Just then, the sickness had its full effect on me. I felt like i was abt to pass out anytime, barely able to sing the national anthem and the school song. - Fast Foward - In class i was messaging the temasek ppl to wish them the best for their SYF held that evening. Had lessons all the way till 1.40. Headed straight for the band room. Desperately looking for tissue as i had depleted my source long ago in the classroom. Full band started at 2.30. Wasn't a really good practice. Who's standing in front on the podium really makes a lot of difference in st pats band.. Mr Heng rushed off to SCH wanting to hear temasek. Me on the other hand, went with ivan, jeremy, alphonsus, nicholas, gabriel, louis, christopher and frank to esplanade to watch the RJC concert. We grabbed a bite on the way and thought that we were going to be late. We reached the entrance at 7.30 and realised that the crowd was not moving, hardly anyone was going in to get seated. Just then, i recieved a call from xinling regarding the results for their SYF. Surprised. TEMASEK GOT GOLD WITH HONOURS! Congragulations to all the band members who have worked hard for this one day. Hope this experience will enrich you and help you as you move along with life. Congrats! The RJC concert was ok lah. The only piece i enjoyed was American Knights! a very new piece that has parts like bass guitar. Cool. Didn't really enjoy the concert overall. Caught up with some of the alumni before heading home in a cab with louis, christopher and frank. Thanks Louis! We're having a night practice tomorrow with Mr Glosz, the final touches to the masterpiece. Do your best guys! Potest Qui Vult. Thanks for all your concern abt me being sick. I appreciate it.
