54 mins to the new year, dun forget to add one second to ur countdown this time! A new year, a new beginning, new challanges, new people we'll meet. I guess its all exciting and worth anticipating for. As we move on to the next phase of our lives, i guess it would be important that we look back at the previous year and learn from both our successes and failures. Well, time to move on.. Nah, i'm not going to have any resolutions planned on this year lest i may not fufil them. A few long-term and short-term goals would be enough (they dun qualify as resolutions)... Preparing for the new year party at hyatt was a whole lot of fun! haha, luckily i was in the morning shift and wouldn't have to worry abt serving thousands of ppl tonight.. I don't think i'll be staying up to countdown to the new year, got work tomorrow. Happy New Year~! Kenneth blogged at 11:05 PM. Wednesday, December 28, 2005
Kenneth, your true color is Green! You're green, the color of growth and vigor. Good-hearted and giving, you have a knack for finding and bringing out the best in people. Green is the most down-to-earth color in the spectrum — reliable and trustworthy. People know they can count on you to be around in times of need, since your concern for people is genuine and sincere. You take pride in being a good friend. For you, success is measured in terms of personal achievement and growth, not by status or position. Rare as emeralds, greens are wonderful, natural people. It truly is your color! Wow, didn't really have a thing for green personally.. haha. Went to the band room today, to try playing with my new ligature and to brush up my rusty clarinet playing.. Tried out Morning, Noon and Night In Vienna, haha, only some parts are playable to us..Went for jap lunch with ivan and jeremy after that. Working tomorrow. Kenneth blogged at 9:54 PM. Boxing Day! + 1st anniversary for the tsunami incident in asia. Went to josiah and joshua's place yesterday as i was kinda free and hanging ard suntec alone. Dinner was great and i guess the rest of the night was just games.. Took a cab home. The Result: Woke up as usual at 5am this morning, everything following the norm until i started working, started yawning like mad and i almost fell asleep while i was standing. haha... Went to meet xinling and cornelius at ps after work. Watched The Promise. Haha, i think the show was rather amusing despite the crappy storyline. Went for dinner and then a game of bishi bashi. Really happy abt the christmas present i got frm xinling and ivan, altough expected, but nevertheless a pleasure to recieve. An Eddie Daniel's Signature Ligature by Rovner. Merry belated christmas and a happy new year.. Kenneth blogged at 8:44 PM. Friday, December 23, 2005
Since i have logged in AGAIN to add another link (to sandy's blog) under others, i might as well blog. haha.. After a day of rest, working today seems to be a little tiring for me (it's the walking part). But nevertheless, i lasted it through again. haha. was looking through the part-timer's records and found out that in the past, there was extra pay for working on friday, saturday and sunday. I guess i'll find out when i get my first pay (which should be very soon). After work today, i realised that i had a missed call frm some unknown number. I dunno what led me to returning the call (as it was not my usual practice to do so) but i did. It was CT, calling me to turn up for an interview tomorrow (yeah!). Finally a chance to earn extra money altough i highly may not get a job. Well, its good to know that at least they called. There's this song playing at SK, sang by dick lee quite a while ago which i can't seem to be able to find the lyrics. Queer. It goes something like Fried Rice Paradise, Nasi Goreng very nice.... Till the next time! Kenneth blogged at 7:42 PM. Wednesday, December 21, 2005

But somehow, been having a sudden urge to work tomorrow.. maybe its the longing for money to buy stuff thing coming on.. Nowadays, i'm feeling that i'm lucky to have my job now compared to my counterparts who may be trying to get ard, pull strings to have some extra money.. right shane? haha It's gonna be a long holiday.. I'm beginning to like my job quite abit, even though often there are rush hours where we have to move very quickly, it's still enjoyable. Having fun and earning money at the same time.. cool. Need to get another job if i wanna buy my clarinet soon. So wish me luck.. Morning, Noon and Night in Vienna's kinda cool, very orchestral piece by franz von suppe. good luck to t.w.e. Work Work Work Till next time. Kenneth blogged at 5:40 PM. Wednesday, December 14, 2005
OK. Big Splash sucks big time. 1) Slides are not opened on time 2) Pathways and Stairs to Slides are in terrible condition 3) High Slides are unsafe because they literally lift u off them 4) Landing areas (for slides) are abt 0.5m deep 5) The water is salty with insects and leaves in them without having a trace of chlorine 6) The lockers are old and faulty and the keys to them do not carry their numbers 7) Quite a long walk frm marine cove 9) Cubicle walls in the un-mantained toilet are very low 10) There are leaks frm the slides So never ever set foot into big splash. Half day of work was really, a moment u're so busy and the next, its time to prepare for the next day's breakfast. Till next time, Adios! Kenneth blogged at 1:02 AM. Saturday, December 10, 2005

Wow, what a hectic holiday. Anyway, here's a glimse of what has been happening to me. Went for philharmonic winds concert today. Of course, they have always mantained a high standard as a wind orchestra. Mostly pop pieces but still, nevertheless, enjoyable. Couldn't really understand robert casteels fully though. Had been going to justin's hse quite often recently and a result of being in the area and having absolutely nothing to do. What to do? Having so many game consoles is a magnet for those in the vincinity. St. Pats. Band camp is starting tomorrow and rp's on tuesday. Really have to sort out my time properly. Starting work tomorrow after being interviewed and hired on the spot on saturday. Pretty exciting eh? So much to do in such a short holiday. Xinling's gone japan, i hope she'll have fun... Happy Birthday to don Hou Hui You Qi Kenneth blogged at 11:56 PM. Thursday, December 01, 2005
ok, its time to blog again. Three days before the day after tomorrow. Jeremy Yeap, Nicholas Tan (Penguin), Josiah, Justin, Jeremy Wong (HM), Don and myself went to jurong east swimming complex. spent abt 3 + hrs there. not a bad place altough the highest slide wasn't in operation. I learnt something yesterday. People under the age of 18 can pay the child's fare for entrance into swimming complexes. Extended lunch at the nearby kfc. Decided to head to jeremy (HM)'s hse so we began our trip back frm the west to the north. Star Wars Monopoly, Game Cube: Mario Party, Super Smash Brothers, Mario Racing, Mahjong Stayed for dinner. Thanks to jeremy and his mum for their hospitality. Reached home at abt 9.30 two days before the day after tomorrow, rpws practice: This is my first practice with the band, hope it'll turn out fine... Kenneth blogged at 11:07 AM. |
