i'm not supposed to be here anyway, i came online to print out my next lecture notes for introduction to hospitality and tourism. So i entered the url and found out that it was not-existent. Yes, i did try multiple times... I guess i'll have to try again some time next week. Its the last sch day of the week, gives the impression of poly life being very slack as week 1 dosen't have any tutorials or lab sessions. Nevertheless, there are some tutorials to prepare for after every lecture. This is kinda unexpected but i', getting a notebook. haha.. finally, as i said, its really very unexpected till 3 days ago. Well, during the notebook exibition in tp the last few days, i coincidentally found out that i could actually pay for my notebook by installments for up to 3 years! Without the use of a HSBC or Citibank credit card. So i'm submitting my application today and hopefully, nothing goes wrong and i would be able to get it in 2 weeks time. Its going to be a long night in school today.. I'm meeting my class for lunch at 12, lecture starts at 2 and orientation starts at 4.30, ends at (can u believe it?) 10!. Well, its not that hard to believe anyway. Once again, i've been pulled in again to join the SMU symphonic band for their participation in the annual National Band Competition. I heard frm meroy that they would be playing Whatsoever Things by Mark Camphouse for their choice piece. ITS NOT AN EASY PIECE. AT least its just one piece compared to the whjole repertoire of music i had to master for their concert some time this year.. Reading xinling's blog, i don't deny that poly life is a path with more freedom. Lessons do not start before 9 and learning is mostly up to the individual. The lecturers are just people who facillitate the learning and will not push you. That's where maturity comes in as well. Hopefully, i'm matured enough to do well! :) Readers, please tag, i'm losing the interest in blogging since no one is tagging.. haha, till next time! Kenneth blogged at 8:48 AM. |
