ok, so i didn't blog quite as often as i thought i would. but here's it anway.. i seem to have some really strange sleeping habit nowadays, sleeping at ard 3am everyday since week 1 of sch. well, it makes me feel rather restless, hoping that lectures end earlier and all that stuff. at least i'm not sleeping in class. one general observation, i feel that some of the lecturers doing lectures that i've been to are going too slow. hmm. 1HO2 is having a clique revamp. ppl still hang out with their cliques, seems like there are additions to some. anyway, we welcome Krish who just transferred in. TP band practices are beginning to be rather dreaded nowadays, seems like the band is not only stagnant but sometimes getting worse. maybe its the new sch term yeah? THIS HOLIDAY IS LONGER THAN I THOUGHT. it feels like it has been several months since i last met my classmates.. i'm really looking forward to the second semester, seems like there are much more interesting modules such as marketing and f&b science. Well, 7 modules in a sem is going to be effort/time-consuming.. oh yeah, hopefully i get the cds-es of my choice. first training for changi youth ambassadors is tomorrow. sounds really fun.. the only disadvantage is that it kinda takes up ur time, when u can be using it to earn more money compared to the 'allowance' that they give u. well, as they all say 'its for the experience'.. with regards to band, its really not easy to have to commit to two bands that have practices which clashes. many people have advised me to quit tp band due to their standards compared to smu band, but i guess that i would stay lah. would be letting quite some people down if i quit. So let's see what's coming up. Taka performance by smu, arts fest with tp, christmas performance by tp, annual concert by tp, annual concert by smu early next year. yep. and i must say, the repertoire for the smu concert is rather heavy with pieces like sinfonia festiva and danse diabolique. looks like i am back playing Eb again. not a bad thing actually. Alright. This one's about yesterday. Got 'conned' (haha) by fangwen to go to work for a function at suntec. Well, to think about it, its not as bad as i thought it would be. So i arrived at suntec at 5pm and was told to proceed to room 309 to have a briefing on the function. Was expecting at least cheryl, benedict and perhaps a few others but only benedict was there. Thought it must be a big one as as many captains were involved. Got posted under salinah. One of the captains i don't have a bad impression of. So when we went to the ballroom where the function was about to be held, wow, first time that i've seen the three ballrooms merged into one. Its really quite 'fun' doing these kinds of functions, there is no pressure, no captain breathing down your neck and not tiring. I wouldn't mind doing more of these kinds of functions. Oh yeah, got to know evelyn who's also frm tp htm. Had supper together with some of the suntec people. Shared a cab home. Kenneth blogged at 10:52 AM. |
