Effects of staying at home for 24 hrs. You-tube-ing And u thought u could sing high.. haha something from TP (CMM) Kenneth blogged at 9:45 PM. Wow, it has already been 4 weeks of the holidays. I'm having mixed feelings about having to go sentosa for school in the next semester, an integral part of the hospitality course in Temasek Poly. Well, the idea of a instituition right smack in the heart if a attraction bustling with tourists is a good one but it is really far of for those who stay near the Tampines campus. Even so, i'm still hoping that my lessons would start early and end early so that i have the rest of the afternoon free and maybe perhaps work in the evenings. Oh yeah, just completed 8 modules of training at the arts centre at city hall and am able to sign up for shows to work. Yeah yeah, we may get to watch shows for free if we are positione within the concert hall or the theatre. The pay's not bad as well. Really glad that Randy informed me of their recruitment.. If you're reading this, thanks. Went to the twins' place yesterday to celebrate their birthday. Couple of st pats band people in my year came as well. Had more fun towards this morning (12am onwards). We just kept playing different games until it was 6am. haha. Probably won't do so much crazy stuff in the near future. It was great fun though.. Anyway. Temasek Poly Band is having its annual concert. The details are as follows; Date: 2 November 2007, Friday Venue: TP Auditorium 1 Time: 1930 Tickets are priced at $6, Free Seating Just get ready the cash, i'll be asking YOU soon. haha. Till next time Kenneth blogged at 12:16 PM. Saturday, September 08, 2007
ok. i thought it was time to blog again to avoid disappointment from those who are checking. 'hung' out with the guys together again namely justin, josiah and joshua. Justin went to all the different venues in the east to pick us up. haha. (disadvantages of being the first among your grp of friends to get a licence). met up with nicholas as well for lunch. well, good luck to nicholas and all my friends who are doing their prelims and their a's.. I really wouldn't like to imagine if i was the one takng a's instead. phew. good choice. So after lunch we headed for tampines mall where a sale was happening. managed to find some really good deals and discounts. justin was on a little shopping spree so he bought quite a few stuff from the department store. yeah. couldn't get anything myself as there wasn't my size. damn. haha. josiah bought something too. so we walked ard and sat ard at TM for quite a while before heading for josiah and joshua's hse. tried the new console games and had a couple of matches of rabbits vs sheep. haha. pretty good old fun. spent a long time deciding where we were going to go after that. so joshua went to catch high school musical 2 with his friends while the three of us headed for makan sutra by esplanade. justin and josiah had to wait pretty long for their food (soup actually) to arrive. the lady at the store was very hospitable though. sort of made up for the delay. Good service recovery. MUTTONS TO MIDNIGHT IS DA BOMB. The plan was to go back home but we detour-ed to the MacD near my house for dessert. Yeah. Josiah was busy on his phone with Angela. haha. must be missing her quite a bit now that she's so many miles away. haha. Had fun. Kenneth blogged at 12:34 AM. Sunday, September 02, 2007
I was just youtubing and found a couple of variations on the song 'Listen' sung by beyonce. Original - Beyonce Some Korean Girl SOME KOREAN GUY. AMAZING RANGE. not too good though. This one's the best beside beyonce in my opinion Listen, To the song here in my heart A melody I've start But can't complete Listen, to the sound from deep within It's only beginning To find release Oh, the time has come for my dreams to be heard They will not be pushed aside and turned Into your own all cause you won't Listen.... [Chorus] Listen, I am alone at a crossroads I'm not at home, in my own home And I tried and tried To say whats on my mind You should have known Oh, Now I'm done believing you You don't know what I'm feeling I'm more than what, you made of me I followed the voice you gave to me But now I gotta find, my own.. You should have listened There is someone here inside Someone I'd thought had died So long ago Oh I'm screaming out, for my dreams to be heard They will not be pushed aside or worse Into your own All cause you won't Listen... [Chorus] I don't know where I belong But I'll be moving on If you don't.... If you won't.... LISTEN!!!... To the song here in my heart A melody I've start But I will complete Oh, Now I'm done believing you You don't know what I'm feeling I'm more than what, you made of me I followed the voice, you think you gave to me But now I gotta find, my own.. my own... Happy teacher's day to all who have guided, instructed and taught people of all ages. May you continue to inspire minds and equip them with lifelong skills. Went back to st. patrick's yesterday to visit some of the few remaining teachers who have taught me back in my secondary school years. It was really great to see some of them after a couple of years. Went over to joshua and josiah's house after the leaving the school to meet with a couple of others from spsmb. It has also been quite a while since i last saw some of them. We had a great time with the new game consoles they got, with warcraft and also plain old catching up. Kenneth blogged at 12:30 PM. |
