I should be sleeping now as i have a double shift for esplanade shop the next morning..

Wow, so much have passed since i last blogged. Let's see...

SMU concert is over after about 4 months of preparation (in which i only attended two months worth). Well, there was definitely room for improvement but it sure was fun.. The band sounded much better at the Victoria Concert Hall compared to the penthouse band room. Well, that's why you have to pay so much for the rental isn't it? Thanks to all those who came down to support the band and to those who bought tickets from nicholas and myself namely those chocolate people mentioned, randy, judith, jasmin, jonathan, qinghui, desmond and cynthia. Batch peeps justin, twins, nicholas and alph. It had always been a joy having you guys around for every concert i performed for since we left st pats.. :)

Speaking of which, i realised that it feels very different for me to perform for concerts ever since i left st pats. It has become more of an enjoyable experience and something that is more fufiling for me. In my secondary school days, concerts meant major responsibilities and also logistics and people management to start with. Then it came making sure that the section gets their parts right before the evening's performance. Well, its not that i don't have such concerns nowadays but i guess i see the bigger picture now. The whole point of WHY we have concerts in the first place. Its like.. Self-actualisation in maslow's hierachy of needs. ahaha.

Wanted to go for a shopping spree earlier this afternoon but was shortened due to the fact that everyone needed to head back for their reunion dinners. Well, shops were closing at around 5pm anyway. Thanks to justin, kum fai and yeap for making an effort to meet even at such last minute impromptu notice. Appreciated. Bought a pair of pants and a shirt for quite a good bargain. What a steal.

Just not long ago i read an announcement on one of my TP online portals. It mentioned that we had to return our Sentosa passes soon as the semester was coming to an end and we didn't need to return to the Tourism Academy anymore. Wow, that was quite a kick at the back of my chair. The semester is coming to an end. (at last). No more submissions and 2 exams left. Time flew (thank God it did).

Unlike most students, i really can't wait to get out of Sentosa. I mean, other than the travelling part which is peripheral, its more about the experiences that i've had there. I shan't really elaborate here for the sake of world peace but i want to get out of this semester.

Been working quite a bit lately despite the numerous submissions that i have had throughout the month or so. Its been well, more enjoyable than what i have worked as before. Everyone's pretty nice at the arts centre located at Marina area. (i can't blog abt my workplace directly). haha.

Well, that's about it. My CNY plans are rather sad other than the fact that my first sister is coming over on the second day for dinner with my brother in law and my second sister's boyfriend and that i'm going to the twin's place along with mr glosz's on the third. Yep. Till then.
