So i've not been here for about a month now haven't i.

It has been two departments now and i'm now on my third. Bell service, apparently, one day before i was going to report for work at concierge, i received a call from front desk telling me that i would be going to bell service first before going to concierge. Well, i guess that move was smart as i haven gotten my driving license and it would be getting rather busy in the resort towards the end of the year. What's a bell man who can only open doors and move lugguage? Haha.

So far i've been there for a week and have two more to go. Let's just say that i'm not having too much fun there. Yeah, its because i'm not as useful as i could be with a licence. Can't wait for it to be over. At least i know that i'm more capable of doing things in other departments.

So my off days in Langkawi have been slightly more enjoyable and appreciated. Other than my previous hobby of watching dvds. The off days give me time to go to the supermarket, send laundry and even do some simple cleaning.

Last weekend, i went for my first spa treatment. The first floor of the shop looks quite deceiving as it looked rather plain and bright. But upstairs is where the real action is. Well, it was quite an experience and the lady masseur used quite a bit of force. Much appreciated except for the calves. Well, at least i know that that's my sensitive area and can advise future masseurs. A bit pricy for my modest budget though. Haha. I'm earning way too little now!

Looking back since the day i came to Langkawi, its seems longer than it actually is. But looking forward to how many more days i have left here. IT SEEMS LIKE A REALLY LONG TIME.

When we are taken out of our usual life, we have more time to think about it from the 'outside' and actually feel the difference from if we did not live our lives the way we did. I also talk more to friends i wouldn't usually talk to a lot. Well, an abundance of time here is therapeutic.
